[0.10.x] Bob's Intermediates mod

Next in the chain of Bob's mods is Intermediates. This is still WIP, but has reached a point where I'm happy to release the first version.

This mod is designed as an extension to bobplates to create intermediate products.
It has however been designed to function as a stand alone mod, with some recipes changed and some items removed.

All recipes are unlocked using existing technology researchs.

Due to the heavy use of wood for Electronic boards, it is recomended to use TreeFarm mod.

Parts:

Wooden Board x2 = Wood
Phenolic Board x2 = Wood + resin
Fibreglass Board x2 = Glass + Plastic

copper wire x2 = copper plate
tinned copper wire x3 = 3x copper wire + tin
electric cable x2 = 2x tinned copper wire + rubber

solder x12 = 9x tin plate + silver plate + copper plate + resin (flux)


Circuits:

Basic circuit board = wooden board + 3x copper wire
circuit board = Phenolic board + copper plate + tin plate + Ferric Chloride Solution x0.5
superior circuit board = Fibreglass Board + copper plate + gold plate + Ferric Chloride Solution x0.5

Basic Electronic Circuit Board = Basic circuit board + Basic Electronic Components x5
Electronic Circuit Board = circuit board + Basic Electronic Components x4 + electronic components x4 + solder
Electronic Processing Board = Superior circuit board + Basic electronic components x2 + electronic components x4 + intergrated electronics x2 + solder


Electronics:

Basic Electronic Components x5 = tinned copper wire + carbon
Electronic Components x5 = plastic + tinned copper wire + silicon wafer x2
Intergrated Electronics x5 = Silicon wafer x4 + plastic + tinned copper wire + sulfuric Acid x0.5


Chemicals:

Ferric Chloride Solution x5 = Iron ore + 6x Hydrogen Chloride

Heavy oil = coal + water
Resin = 2x Heavy Oil.
Rubber = Resin
2x Carbon = Coal + 0.5x Water

Liquid Fuel = 2x Light Oil.
Liquid Fuel Canister x3 = Iron plate + 3x Liquid Fuel


Gears:

Steel Gear wheel = Steel Plate
Brass gear wheel = Brass Plate
Tungsten Gear Wheel = Tungsten Plate
Titanium Gear Wheel = Titanium Plate
Nitinol Gear wheel = Nitinol plate


Bearings:

Steel bearing ball x12 = Steel Plate
Titanium bearing ball x12 = Titanium Plate
Nitinol bearing ball x12 = Nitinol plate

Steel bearing x2 = Steel Plate + 8x Steel bearing ball
Titanium bearing x2 = Titanium Plate + 8x Titanium bearing ball
Nitinol bearing x2 = Nitinol plate + 8x Nitinol bearing ball

Progression.

It currently adds items only, no recipes are re-written, but I plan to do this later.

However I did re-write Assembly mod and post Power mod that uses some of these new materials.

Hi Bob,

pretty cool mods that you create there, just one little suggestion. It would be easier for your Fanbase to keep track if you merged all mods into one single thread.

That way people can always get the latest version of your mods, and all of them at that too. For Bug reports, explanation etc. I'd say kjeep the single threads to have abetter sorting.

Anyway, keep up the awesome work.

I can't seem to find the recipes for the circuits and its components. I can only produce up to Circuit Board, its missing the electronic ones. I have the research completed and still doesn't work.
I tried to make a test world and its working fine, the electronic boards are there. It only occur in an old savegame.

Have you researched Oil Processing and Plastics yet? Some of the boards require those to be produced. And If you're using Bob's plates (Metals and chemicals) mod, Chemical Processing.

And the higher level ones need Advanced Electronics 2 too, higher level than the standard game's items.

I have almost all research. I think you need to use the migration to redo the research affected by this mod.

I already wrote a migration script that worked for my tests... I'll have another look at it.

I want to use your mods on my new game but it's quite confusing to keep track of your mods since they are in 5 different threads =\

Okay, I loaded from an old game with bob plates already in use, but not bob's intermediates. all research complete.
Everything needed for making the new electronics was updated correctly via migration.

I then loaded an older savegame, base only, no mods, but all research complete.
The result was all the electronic recipes were unlocked EXCEPT "Circuit Board", and a few other intermediates. The ones that were missing are researched through Chemical Processing, and should become available once that research is complete.

I only checked with all my mods installed, if you are using any other configuration, let me know.

I will at some point make a "Bob's Mods" thread to keep download links, and topic links etc in one place. the only problem is it could easily get bumped down and lost if nobody posts in it, bringing us back to the current situation.

It would be easier to manage if I had my own section, like DyTech, and F-Mod.

This mod has now been merged into the Metals and Chemicals mod V0.6.0, therefore this mod is now obsolete.
