I find it sill difficult to get the right scale for my production units.
My chrome production has a lot of (planned) overproduction and is one of the few designs I really like. Also my automatic factory will come in handy soon (it recursively produces everything I want by using some combinator magic with the mod that lets me change factory recipes). Whant 10 Kicalk buildings and some belts: just set them in the combinator add raw materials and wait a bit (has some overproduction though).
How long have you been playing when you already use 4 lane trains? For me just to finish Circuit 2 automation takes ages with all the byproducts and requirements (hopefully it will run in a few hours xD).

Best part was when I finally could produce niobium pipes. I love the underground version.
