The new battery design looks like a random blob not having much in common with a battery. Please bring back Duracell rabbits.

If Wube was forced to remove the old battery design, then any mod hosted on the mod portal/forums (ie hosted on one of Wube's servers) would probably cause similar issues.

Hopefully the new graphics are temporary,and we'll get something better looking for 0.17

I mean, this seems ridiculously easy to mod. So yeah, if it's a legal thing, they'd probably be obliged to take it down. The thing is, they haven't stated whether or not it was for legal reasons which seems (at least to me) to imply that it was for legal reasons; however, we have no indication that that is the case, so I see no reason someone couldn't make a mod, so long as they took it down (or it was taken down) if/when asked. It's easy enough to copy the image from the stable and replace the current one as well.
