Initializing failed. Error code: 01

When i try to launch factorio the screen flashes white and then an error message saying: Initializing failed. Error code: 01.
I couldn't figure out how to upload a video showing the problem in action so here's an imgur link. https://imgur.com/a/LQHoWsm
