"profile" selection ( like in Minecraft )

I always have the problem that i have multiple worlds with friends that all use a different set of mods and it is really annoying to turn them on and off manually all the time,
so my suggestion is to add an option to make mod profiles that you can select upon game startup, where you can select the mods you want to use and save them in profiles, so
the mods you want will be loaded.
I know this would be a huge change and it is probably not easy to implement, but i think it would greatly increase the quality of life when playing different modded games or playing
on modded servers.

Mod selection and mod profiles upon startup to avoid annoying mod switching for different worlds.

I fully agree. The game OpenTTD also has such a mod profile manager.

These - also note that you can copy and paste the mods folder, or have multiple non-Steam installs in different folders (those are probably mentioned in some of those other threads, but I didn't bother to read them).
