Surely having the minimap reappear when mousing over an entity is not intended behaviour?????
Want to know where the biters chewing your power plant have come from??
Wondering where your next iron is going to come from??
You need Long Range Radar

Thanks for the report however one of the mods you're using is causing it to re-apear.
