Radar remote view not working

After a few months break from Factorio, I returned and noticed the remote view in map mode was not working. Has something changed?

Works for me. Do you actually have a powered radar in the area?

I can get the symptom by reassigning the alt-zoom, that's the one that will toggle in and out of map view.
