So now the pymods has its own board i figured id start a post so we could share pymods creations.

this is my Water to coal generator the mk1 version. its designed to output a full yellow belt of coal.

Early SynGas production to be used in special miners
Its probably not the best setup,but works really fine and you only need water :)

More Syngas can come up if we'll have oxygen
Heh Syngas is need for borax, borax need for science pack 2, the sooner we get Syngas, then better.

It's been slow going, but red science is automated. Now to just figure out green science's production chain so I can finally get ammonia for circuit production. I will be thrilled when I no longer have to make circuits by hand.

One of the things making this hard is trying to recognize the icons.

One of the idiotic things I did was use RSO w/ Rail World settings. It takes so many resources to tech up I'm worried I'll mine my coal and iron dry before I can get trains going.

You get ammonia with the cyanic acid recipe on red science, the recipe where you need ammonia needs cyanic acid too. The cyanic acid recipe is the only one where you can get cyanic acid and it gives you more ammonia then you need for the circuit chain. So ammonia from a recipe with green science is useless for the circuit chain because you need the cyanic acid recipe.

Yeah many things to learn. I started first with bob and made some mistakes until i found out that i need the buildings for circuit board 1, handcraft some printed circuit substrate 1 and insert it to get my first circuit board 1, to automate it. I was first trying to make the printed circuit substarte 1 chain and then the green sience ( sience pack 2 ), but both of them need at some point circuit board 1. So without the circuit board 1 chain you can do nothing. I was confused how i can progress, until i found out how hit works with bob. But not long after that i started new without bob, because my base building was terrible, i let always not enough space and i was thinking, maybe i should learn pymod first befor i play them with bob. :D

I admire how tidy your setups are, I've been telling myself: "Right.. I'll throw together this temporary arrangement just to get things going and built a proper one later." Now my base is a nightmare and I haven't even started on science pack 3 yet.

After seeing chrisdec's circuit setup, I became curious about what it would take to have the same output with the complex recipe, since my base only has a basic circuit setup (mostly just enough to get things going) I put the numbers into helmod to see what it said:

That is a lot of resources, buildings, and space for less than 1 circuit per second. I'm guessing it is a lot cheaper to just make 25 assemblers?

Yeah is a lot cheaper to build. In the picture you don't see the buildings with the hightest numbers. Around 30 Clay-Pits and maybe 60 Fawogae Plantation , 25 Auog paddock and 24 Moondrop Greenhouse. :D
