Lag when playing with Steam multiplayer

Lag when playing with Steam multiplayer

Hello,

when I'm playing with a friend on our server (non-dedicated) then the one who have to join has input lags. When he's pressing the space bar he got some rubberbanding. Unfortunately that's so bad we can't play with these lags. Does anybody know some fix for this?
