Increased scroll speed for map by zoom level

This has been irritating me for a long time now so i thought i'd post. Trying to scroll the map takes ages, it would be nice if it moved faster the further you're zoomed out.

I second this; moving across the map on the more zoomed out levels feels painfully slow to me. Subjectively, it seems the map actually moves slower the more you zoom out...

I'm almost certain that the slowdown is caused by the computer not being able to run the game fast enough. I'm afraid there is no other "fix" than to upgrade your computer or optimize the game

OP is right, zooming out should increase the scrolling speed. No computer limitations.

Oh, wait. I misunderstood. I thought OP was talking about playing in survival mode and running around with the character. I somehow managed to miss the "map" part entirely in the title

Adding a +1 on this. Right now, it seems like scrolling speed is always x tiles/second, regardless of zoom level. This makes browsing around in maximum zoom quite painful once the network gets bigger. Ideally, this scrolling speed should scale with zoom level.

I agree. Scroll speed should be some % of map screen size per second and not tiles per second. I use resource spawner overhaul so my operations are very spread out.
