Game Save Sync Speed Increase?

For some reason over the weekend the amount of time it takes for steam to sync after exiting the game to upload the saved game has decreased dramatically, from 25 minutes to about 5.

Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know why?

are you still playing the same save that took 25 minutes? the smaller the world, the faster it will sync.
updating from the original version when the world was created will disable replays. that should make the save smaller.

i don't deal with Steam cloud. takes too damn long. i backup manually.

It's the same game. Filesize 33MB

I noticed lately that it takes up to half an hour. But I don't know if this is new, or had been that way all the time. Normally I wouldn't notice it. I just happend to see it in steam.
