Empty hand

I'm playing the latest version of the game. I think its .16

I'm having trouble sometimes with emptying my hand. The Q key doesn't work and the game won't put the item back into inventory so that I can click on a factory or whatever.

I tried remapping this function to the X key, but had the same problem. The X key worked sometimes, but then it stopped working for no reason at all as far as I can see.

Hey Mauslag,

Do you mean that the active item on your cursor, can't be placed back in your tool bar or inventory?

Did you fix it yet?

Is your inventory full? You need an empty slot to drop it.

Placing an item in your hand frees up an inventory slot. Unruly bots can fill this slot if you have a deconstruction or logistic request in progress. If they steal that last spot you will not be able to place the item back in your storage.

Yes it's very annoying and something that really shouldn't happen.
