Ways to get your resources into one place more effeciently

Hey Factorioans,

Just trying to find the best automated way to get all resources(stone, ore's, coal, etc...) into one place.

I have used one idea where I brought all the resources into a circular belt design with arms to grag the recources and place them into chests but sometimes the mining areas are far away.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

I collect them and take them to my final factory:

Well I don't advise this for all your bulk materials like iron and copper but storage chests and logistics robots can group all of your scattered stuff simply by placing them in am active providers chest with logistical coverage to storages chests. Handy for building and even emptying pesky full inventory back into storage from any were. I am addicted to robots!
