Setting Blueprint Label with Enter

Post by bearbones »

Hello awesome developers of the best early access game in history,

I finally registered on these forums after spending the past few years playing this amazing game. However, there is one simple interface hiccup, if you will, that is driving me to post this suggestion - labeling blueprints.

Currently when you are labeling a blueprint if you press the enter key, you lose what you just typed and it saves the blueprint instead. You have to manually click on the save label for every blueprint that is renamed. This is very frustrating as literally every time I type in the name, it is ingrained in the fiber of my being to hit enter to complete the label. As you can imagine I have renamed 100's of blueprints at this point, before finally realizing that none of the labels were applied. Hopefully this simple request can get added before I lose my mind!

Suggestion (TL/DR):
Allow an option, or the default, to enable the 'enter' key as save blueprint label, instead of save blueprint and disregard changes to label.

Thanks for the consideration. :D

Totally agree, it's not a nug, just very unintuitive design.

@OP:

Huh? I'm confused, and i actually manually verified before posting this:
If i press return/enter while the label is in edit mode the label is saved. Pressing it again has no effect. How do you manage to save the blueprint instead of the label when pressing return O_o.
