Game Crash on Update to 0.10.0

Today I tried updating Factorio from 0.98 to 0.10.0 and I got an error message.

It crashes saying it has Access Denied. I looked around the forum a bit and didn't find an answer.
This error message appears when Factorio restarts after updating. The green bar fills up all the way then stops to display "Error".
I have not modded or attempted to mod Factorio if that helps.
I'm already having Factorio Withdraw Syndrome. Please help me

Would you recommend 0.10.0 or 0.10.1?

10.1 fixes a lot of bugs that 10.0 introduces, but introduces some bugs as well, so eh.. it's up to you. :p

Well, the logo got an update. Cool. It worked. 0.10.1
