Hi,
I would like to suggest an additional stat for the roboport network - the number of robots either charging or waiting for a charging station. The current stats don't allow quick identification of the bottleneck in a roboport network as it could be that there not enough bots or not enough charging stations. Usually when all the robots in a network are used I just keep throwing more bots out, but only when I walk around am I able to identify that more roboports are required.
Additional roboport stat - number of charging bots

Re: Additional roboport stat - number of charging bots
I was about to suggest this, but it looks like it's been suggested already. So, here's a second vote for this idea. It would be great to see how many bots are stuck waiting to charge so I can determine when I need more roboports in a more fine-grained way than just eyeballing the size of bot arcs around roboports.

If you have arcs waiting to charge, and haven't done something recently to put an abnormal load on your logistics bots (eg replaced some chests with active providers to get the bots to empty the chests), then you need more roboports.Kyralessa wrote:I was about to suggest this, but it looks like it's been suggested already. Yes, but being able to hook it up to the network and cause an alarm or something similar to activate is useful instead of just noticing it when you walk past.Zavian wrote:If you have arcs waiting to charge, and haven't done something recently to put an abnormal load on your logistics bots (eg replaced some chests with active providers to get the bots to empty the chests), then you need more roboports.
