The game crashes at the loading sprites

after the game loads it just shuts down, it was doing this at the bit mapping and then i turned steam overlay off and then it crashes at the loading sprites. im not sure what it is or how to fix it but the specs are pretty crap because i want to run it on a old pc. now its running Debian linux if that means anything.

Did you just update to 0.16?

yes i just updated onto the 0.16.x

My guess is you are running out of video memory. Try some of the the steps from viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9300 . If that doesn't work, post your factorio log. See https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?title=Log_File .

Please post your log ... it should be in ~/.factorio/factorio-current.log

Thanks. You have very low RAM, far below minimum requirements. Try to save the attached config to ~/.factorio/config/config.ini

EDIT: Also, are you trying to to run it on Raspberry Pi? ... well good luck with running at least 1 FPS
