When a mod has a changelog that is invalid(say missing a dash(-)) there is a button for the changelog in the modlist, but it does nothing. It would make sense to display an error or not display the changelog button at all.
What did I do
1 Make a valid mod with a valid changelog
2 Remove a dash from any of the subchanges items
3 Start Factorio and go to the modlist
4 Find the mod with the changelog
5 Click on the Changelog button
What did I expect
EIther the changelog opens or a error message
What did it do
Nothing
I understand that this is not a priority as it can be expected of a modder to make sure it''s mod works.
0.16.12 Invalid mod changelog shows unclickable button
Re: 0.16.12 Invalid mod changelog shows unclickable button
There is an error displayed in the log file, which mod authors can use to ensure they conform.
Moving to not a bug for now, mod authors can use the log, and it doesn't matter for end users really.
