Unable to log in, in game.

Problem
When trying to log in, in game the client responds with "Invalid username or password"

Additional information
I can access the Factorio site.
Sometime after 0.7.5 came out my account stopped working.
When I first encountered the problem I assumed something went wrong with my password so I did a password reset.
I have access to two computers which I used for testing/troubleshooting.
I have contacted devs about this and they suggested to turn off firewall, one computer had windows firewall enabled one didn't.
Network has remained unchanged through out this. On a related note I don't think it is a network issue since the response is immediate and doesn't feel like an timeout.
I am running Factorio on Windows 7 x64 (Pro and Ultimate)

Attempted solution/troubleshooting
I have successfully used the in game patcher since 0.6.4 (at least) but suddenly my in game access stopped working.
Steps I have taken to try and fix the problem:

• Update password
• Upgrade to different versions (x64)
  • 0.7.5
  • 0.8.0
  • 0.8.6
  • 0.8.8
• Tried on two different computers
• I have tinkered with FW settings. I usually just turn them off.

Final thought
Since I can upgrade manually this isn't a big deal but still worth looking into.

This should be solved starting in 0.10.0. So in 0.10.1 this error would be correctly classified as a problem with firewall, not logging in problem. If the response is immediate it means even more that it is not Factorio issue but a firewall issue (password is verified on the server not locally). Also in 0.10.0 there is more logging for the updater so if the problem persists please attach the logs for the past sessions (they should be in application https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... _Directory).
