I have been using a method to approach a train station backwards by driving back in Manual mode and switching to Automatic mode when behind the station. This worked fine in 0.15, where the train slowed down from the backwards movement and then started going forward, but in 0.16 it immediately stops when it changes direction.
What happened: When I drove the train backwards in Manual mode and switched to Automatic mode, the train stopped immediately instead of slowing down first. The same happened when driving in manual mode and switching to Automatic when the train found no path, forcefully stopping it.
What should've happened: The train should have slowed down instead of halting immediately. (At least that's how it was in 0.15)
I tried to attach a video recording, but .mp4 isn't allowed here and a .gif is too big.
[0.16.6] Train stops immediately when switched to Automatic

I re-recorded it into webm, so here it is. (I hope it works, it doesn't want to show up when I preview it.)

I'm an admin over at https://wiki.factorio.com. Feel free to contact me if there's anything wrong (or right) with it.
Re: [0.16.6] Train stops immediately when switched to Automatic
This is not what I see in the video, the train only stops instantly when it has no path to the destination, which is intended: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=50266
