Happened to me, too. Attached you may find the log from our headless linux server (16.5).

Neither of us did try to place a power pole though. The last thing I did was pressing Q on an assembly machine 3 to copy it, and my friend was firing nukes on meanies.

I think this may be what happened to me as well, also on 16.5, but i was replacing and moving large power poles. i believe i was connecting/disconnecting a load section from that electrical network with the particular pole that crashed me, but all power production was to one side, if that matters.

ill attach the save and logs, i have the following mods on in this save, i will attempt to reproduce the crash without any enabled.

Version 16.5
I placed a power pole and removed the unnecessary one - then game crashed.
No mods, beginning of game.
Dump and log attached.
