My save game has grown to 86 MB, which means 3 autosaves of that size as well. When I go to manually save the game, it seems that as of 0.10.0 the "choose a name for your save game" dialog is scanning every game in the saves directory and my system grinds to a halt (with the hard drive light going nuts, mouse being very jerky/99% unresponsive) and I have to restart the computer. This happens after a fresh reboot as well. Update: actually now I can't even load the game, computer croaks after clicking the game and clicking load.
Also, autosaves seem to be growing exponentially, like 1 MB every 10 minutes (when I was still able to play.) I suspect it is the replay feature combined with such a huge map with lots and lots of biters present at the edges, all recording their own movements. Also possible cause is I have ~100 radars all revealing their own spaces on the map. I don't even use the replay feature and I never am going to play multiplayer, any way to turn that off?
save file, created in 0.9.8: http://squisher.co/s/7.zip
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 cores)
4 GB ram.
Only mod: shotgunfix 0.0.1
Clearing the saves folder and starting from scratch fixes it. But of course now I can't play my map any more.
[0.10.0][cube] Linux - can't handle massive save games

Hello, it seems to have the same cause as this: https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=4161
Can you confirm, you are using 32bit version of factorio or system?

Re: [0.10.0] Linux - can't handle massive save games
Nope :l
Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.12-100.fc18.x86_64 #1 SMP
Factorio 0.10.0 (Build 10146, linux64)
Edit: update: my current game is up to 75 mb (they grow much faster in 0.10.0) and am having zero indication of the issue reported above. I suspect the issue was caused by using an older 0.9.8 game. So I'd guess this is probably not an issue anymore. I'll report back if it happens again.
Edit 2: my game hit 240 mb before 0.10.1 hit, and was still fine on linux. It's now 47 mb which can only be better.

Nice base
Apart for making the saves smaller, 0.10.1 also doesn't load whole map when doing the game preview. For me that speeded up the load game dialog a lot
Moving to resolved.

I have no idea what I'm talking about.
