Hello guys,
just a quick question.
I have a total of 3 mods running (upgrade planner, nanobots and ghost copier) whereof the latter is somehow not working.
I manually installed it like the other two which are showing up in the game mod list and working fine.
Running the non steam version so it has to go into the userdata folder.
Factorio version is up to date.
Windows 7 64bit.
Any advice or tips?
Thanks
Ghost Copier not showing up in in game mod list
Re: Ghost Copier not showing up in in game mod list
Unzip the file and edit data.lua to see if it gives an error on start. Just write some nonsense in there to give a syntax error.
Actually make sure the zip file contains a factorio mod and not some virus.

Thanks for your answer!
I just unzipped it and can't find a data.lua, just a control.lua.
The other two mods which are working have way more files in their zip - also a data.lua.
Loos like the Ghost Copier mod I have is incomplete or something.
No virus found btw.
I downloaded it from github from distantcam

Re: Ghost Copier not showing up in in game mod list
You only have a data.lua if you have some recipes or entities to add. So maybe the mod doesn't add anything like that.
You can corrupt the control.lua too but that gets checked later when you load a savegame or start a new game. Not when you start factorio. So you get a delayed reaction.
Also check the console output for messages about loading the module and it's checksum.

Re: Ghost Copier not showing up in in game mod list
Nah, nothing to add etc. That mod allows you to keep the settings/recipes when planting something on a ghost.
It looks like it doesn't even recognize the mod. There's nothing written in the ingame console and on startup, where the mods get initialized, there's nothing loading either.
Any way someone could provide a link to his version of Ghost Copier?
Thanks guys!

This mod actually sounds useful. But bluebuild already does the same except I don't even have to click.

Could someone provide a Google drive link from the ghost copier files he or she's using?
