General gameplay flow

Post by SirAmenos »

Its been a while since my last play, I know the changes but I'm lost in how to progress in the game correctly. I need general game plan, not very specific even, in order to progress from early game to build a large factory

Thanks

To be honest, it doesn't really matter. What are you stuck on right now?

Harvest enough to build a steam engine, a boiler, a pair of power poles, a science lab, and 10 red science packs, and research automation. Then automate red science. Then automate green. Then automate military (gray) and blue (needs oil). Then purple and yellow. Research rocket, build it, and launch it.
That's for the general game plan :)

The general gameplay flow is to look at a science pack, determine what is needed to make it, setup automated construction of those things (and the things to make those things), and get that science pack made in bulk and stuffed into labs to do research. Then research everything, until you need a different type of science pack to research more. Then repeat.

Sounds simple but that's basically it. You will end up, though, in short order making something so that you can more easily make something else, which enables you to make the thing that will make your science pack.
