Splitscreen Multiplayer (possibly side-by-side)
Factorio multiplayer could have a Splitscreen option so that if another mouse or something like that you could have two players at the same time. This would go well if my suggestion for XBOX360/Steam Controller support is added. If someone can do a mod for XBOX360/Steam Controller support and/or one for Splitscreen.

Since it's unlikely steam controller or xbox controller would be supported I doubt that this would be supported either, LAN multiplayer works though out of the box, 2 computers in the same room playing on Factorio may be a more expensive option but I think it'd be a more pleasant one too.
