Dear all.
The game calls the three tanks of a tank wagon: Front, Middle, Back. That naming does not match the actual order of the tanks in a train. This confuses me and is a bug.
I split a tank wagon into two separte tanks. The UI is inconsistent in what it displays. In the split window of the tank wagon (not shown as screen shot) it seems to be a 2-1 split, with 2 tanks in the front (on the left) and 1 tank in the back (on the right). That is how I arranged my pumps as well.
Now, as seen in the screenshot the split actually seems to be a 1-2 split. In the description it claims the front and middle tanks contains heavy oil, whereas the back tank contains petroleum. Actually the front tank (as seen as part of the train the wagon is connected to) does contain petroleum, while the middle and back tank contain heavy oil.
I did not try to repeat this misbehaviour. I just guess it will be very easy to reproduce, as the order should flip with the order of the train, but probably will not.
Kind Regards,
Oliver

[15.35] Unclear Split of tank wagon: Front, Middle, Back
Re: [15.35] Unclear Split of tank wagon: Front, Middle, Back
The wagon has a front and a back itself, otherwise you could not define the front if the train was inverted two headed. If this bugs you, you can turn the wagon around by removing the locomotive, hovering the cursor over it, pressing the rotate key and reconnecting a locomotive, but you will have to swap your liquids now.
