New mobs

New mobs
I have over 800+ Hours in factorio.I dearly LOVE this concept and idea of this game,but the mobs are starting to get to easy for me.When i'm in mid game stage Power armor Mk1 solar panels,lazers,set up kinda deal.Things just kinda at that point for me atleast get boring.Bases arnt that threatening, biters and spitters are eh.I feel like there needs to be a switch up with mobs.Like certain area ( desert area mobs have a higher resistance,forest area mobs maybe more worms,water areas maybe faster speeds at which the AI move).Another idea that the devs could tinker with is different mob types and maybe some code in game that makes the AI a bit smarter?Rework the AI pathing so the mobs dont run directly into trees/stones, which i have seen and recorded in my youtube vidz lol.But going back to different mob types, maybe add in new and uniques mobs.For example a group of biters come at you and you kill %75 of them the last %25 retreat.You nuke an area that used to have AI near it, that area now becomes contaminated.If the AI decided to make camp near or around the same spot,they become contagious and if they attack your base and you kill the "contagious" one it explodes.Now you have radiation.I feel like switching up the AI/cleaning up the AI pathing and add new mobs in the game, will make this game not only have versatility but also longevity.Feel free to put your 2 cents in.Any ideas? concepts?Yes no maybe so? Would like to hear what the community and devs have to say!Btw I LOVE your game Wube Software!(Did i already say that,oh well!)Keep up the awesome job devs!
