Small research queue
Researches should be a bit queueable, i.e. you should be able to demand at least the next research after the current - no need to queue more than 4 technologies though. Would be also nice if you automatically queue the required technologies first for that you put on the list like when crafting...

From the Factorio Roadmap for 0.15 + 0.16
MrDoomah wrote:Quick question: Is there a research queue planned to be inplemented? I ask this because I was planning to update my research queue mod, but when snooping through the files I stumbeled upon this localisation:I know queueing isn't listed in the roadmap, but this makes me curious.Code: Select all
enqueue-research=Enqueue start-research-tooltip=Start researching this technology. enqueue-research-tooltip=Schedule this technology to be researched. Its prerequisites will be researched first.

Research Schedule
I'm sure all of us have made a list of things we need to do in real life every now and then, so how about we have that with Research in Factorio!
You can select research (if available) in a schedule format that you can edit. And you can click [START RESEARCH] to automatically start the schedule. It would work like this if you were making a schedule:
Research Schedule: [ADD TECHNOLOGY] [START RESEARCH]
1st Logistics 2 [MOVE] [DELETE]
2nd Railways [MOVE] [DELETE]
3rd Power Armor 2 [MOVE] [DELETE]
EMPTY

I wonder if people have suggested this before, but I think it would a good idea.

Research Queue
There is a mod that does this, but it would be great to have it as a feature in the base game. Basically, be able to start multiple researches which will be done in order. If I go to eat dinner, I don't want my factory to finish its one research and then stop; I'd like it to keep going so long as the science packs are in the labs.
I doubt this would be too hard to implement, and it goes with the theme of the game; automation.
