[0.15.30]Robots from roboport not building

Post by stigi »

Hello

I don't know why, but my construction robots builds things randomly. I started a new outpost i grab a blueprint and give order to start building train tracks and walls and etc and then i placed down a roboport, put the items to a passive provider chest(i tried every chest) and released the robots, but nothing happened, they just flew to the nearest roboport and stayed there.
I try first put the roboports and then the blueprint but it just work halfway, but not for the blueprints that have rail tracks in it.
At the attached foto, there is tracks that i put without a blueprint manually after the roboports was placed, the robots ignore it to.

From my personal roboport it works fine, like always.

I use these methods many times, it always worked, the bug came first at wednesday but i couldn't play since than.

I use ubuntu 16.04

I'm sorry, but i don't understand(english is my second language), i attached a image, this is a complete different "network"(doesn't have any connection to other networks ), there isn't any job for them.

You telling me, i can 1000000 robot in the map, but there can do just limited job at once? It sounds stupid. There is just one array that store all the jobs?(like i want to cover a outpost with concrete and if it is a big outpost, i cant build anything else anywhere in the maps until it finish?)

No, but the game will only try to fulfil a certain number of open job orders per tick, having hundreds of open jobs means it will take time for the order you want to have completed to come up and if some can not be completed it can take for ever, this is not depending on what network the jobs are in. If you do not want that behaviour, do not produce jobs for the robots that can not be executed.

Thanks for the answer, its clear now.
Can i incrase that number/tick? I mean, if i buy a stronger cpu, i can give more orders, or it is not the way it works?

No, it is hardcoded afaik, but if you only place orders which can be fulfilled you will never notice it anyway.
