Came up in my Steam Discovery Queue, the thing that recommends games you might like, the trailers interested me and I was going to wait for it to go on sale but then just bought it (would have been waiting a looooong time =D)

Originally from the gameplay direwolf20 did with soaryn. I saw it, my old laptop would not run it, but the seed was planted, a while later I got a new latop, and one of the first games I installed was factorio.

it was at the time that I bought it already a budget laptop, and it had an old AMD processor with it's IGPU in it. If you feel like that is potato, take a look at /r/lowendgaming

Not necessarily, my work computer won't run it (on minimum quality I get about 5fps) but as far as business use goes it's a decent PC, just let down by the graphics card which is optimised for four screens, not games.

with systemrequirementslab my gpu ranks in the 0th percentile and I can get 30fps on a new game.

A friend recommended it to me and linked me to it on Indiegogo a couple of weeks before the 0.10 alpha release. I played the 0.9.8 demo for a couple of days before buying the game at second level (The one where you get the scenarios that everyone gets now.)

i know this game when i getting tired playing fortresscraft (kinda like factorio, but with 3D.). when i go to steam, i find this game similar to it (also appear in steam recommendation). the art style are good compare my game, so i download the demo and play it.

its good, so i planned to buy this game. after 3 months when collecting money (collage and living in Indonesia), i manage to buy this game.

I discovered Factorio right about there by launching Factory Idle on /r/incremental_games before anyone was supposed to. Actually, that isn't where I learned of Factorio's existence, I had noticed it on mod site spacedock.info before then, but it wasn't until this Reddit comment that it occurred to me it might be worth checking out. Spacedock is Kerbal Space Program's all-but-official mod portal. Factorio's mod portal is not the worst official mod portal by several light-years.
