Important: This mod has been deprecated. Its functionality has been combined into Color Picker. You can delete it from your mod list.

In addition with wagon color i tried some colors of famous ores:

Released v0.2.1 with a new mod name (ID is not affected, so you can safely update).
Also updated the button icon.

It is known that this mod is causing error in 0.15.27.
But I need some time to fix it. Please disable the mod for now if you are playing 0.15.27.

PS: same as other color picker sub-mods.

Cool! Thanks! Should I delete these mods completely or will the current ones notify me of updates?

Also, how long ago did you notice this was broken? Reasons I ask is because I was a witness to seeing a dev in a large MP stream notice it and RGB manipulation got immediately fixed. I'm wondering if THIS is also byproduct of their fix.

Just delete them except the Color Picker mod. I think by the time when I finish the update, no one will still keep the Color Picker sub-mods because they are causing error now.

What fix do you mean? The error is caused by a change in 0.15.27
Fixed that mods could do remote calls outside of events when the game isn't in a valid state. (50509)
The workflow that has already been here since 0.12 (when I started playing Factorio) is suddenly broken in this update. :|

EDIT: Have you considered a "Color Picker for Cars/Tanks" (and, possibly, any other sort of mod vehicles that might be brought into the game)?

That quote was the answer of "how long ago did you notice this was broken?"
Cars and tanks change color only when a player enters. And the color will be the same as the player color. No way to change that with API.
PS: I think I can release the update tonight, or tomorrow.
PS2: Quite sure you will be surprised by the new feature.

Just Color Picker. You can simply delete the other color picker mods (player color, train stop color, locomotive color, wagon color).
I'm updating the document, and will push the new version shortly.

Looking forward to it! Do you that graphic handy where you have the RGB/Hex values that mimic the ore colors, etc.?

The colors need to be updated, since the alpha channel is now supported.
As a quick fix, you can simply add "FF" after all the hex colors, e.g. coal becomes "040404FF".
I will include the vanilla ore colors as the default color presets in the next version.
