It would be cool if there was a light overlay displaying the tank's cannon range. It would allow more aggressive sniping of worms before diving into the fray. I feel like the turret rotation time makes it hard to accurately judge when to stop to make a hit, since if you're moving towards the worm with the turret facing away, you will get closer than you need to in the time that the turret takes to rotate to face the target.

As a side note: Tank Cannon has range of 25, and so does Poison capsule, Distractor capsule and Destroyer capsule - so if you hold any of those capsules in your hand you get to visualize the Tank Cannon range.
The Tank (and car) machine gun has a range of 20, which is shared with Defender capsule and Cluster grenade.

One complication with this suggestion is range is shown contextually, by either mousing over a turret or holding a capsule. It'd be tricky to extend this to figuring out the right context to show vehicle weapon range.

IMO cannon shells should be long range.

I don't even bother building them currently, it's just as fast to use AP ammo as well as being easier to target and probably cheaper. It also means you don't need to bother with the cannon research and it's one less thing you need to set up production for (as you need to make ammo anyway). Why even bother.

Increasing the range to say 75 would make a range indicator pointless, if you can see them you can shoot them (more or less), and would make the cannon much more relevant. With a few researches you can instakill a spawner, this would allow you to do this at range but then a huge wave of biters runs at you, effectively body blocking so it's not like it's overpowered.
