Coincidence that popular mods start with A & B ?

I couldn't help but wonder...

Bobs, Angels, AAI, 5dims, bio industries etc... Would they be as popular if they didn't begin with letters at the beginning of the alphabet?

Because when you install mods in game, they are sorted by name as default.

I think the default sorting should be by last updated.

what do you guys think?

Bobs, Angels, 5dims and bio industries were popular even before mod portal existed, so I guess it is just coincidence

Half the functionality of the mod portal is broken and/or not implemented. I sure wish Spacedock.info could get their spiff together so we can have a real alternative.

Also, how do I search my own mod? The fastest way I know is to find one of my mod then click on my name....

I think the recursion mod and RSO are also pretty popular. So it's probably just a statistical deviation due to the small sample size.
