Hi Guys,
From 0.15.11 release my game happens to have lots of FPS drops when i play, going down from 55/60 to 3 or 4.
I know my Computer is definitely under requirements but i never had such problems before. I have every graphical option to the lowest, deactivated smoke and clouds etc.
Everything went fine up to the addition of the Atlas Texture Size option. (I have more than 165h of gameplay that went all fine until then)
If i understood it correctly, as my VRAM is small (256Mo, NVIDIA GeForce 330M) i'd better chose the smallest option as wel in the Atlas Texture Size option, 2048, which i did. But it didn't change anything to me, i still have those numerous drops and game got unplayable.
Anyclue on how to solve this and being able to play again smoothly ?
MacOS 10.9.5
2.53 GhZ Intel Core i5 QuadCore
RAM : 8 Go 1067 MHz DDR3
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M - 256 VRAM
Thanks for your help guys !

You might have passed a critical point in memory usage. Check you memory usage when you have the map loaded and running.

I just checked that out.
It seems that my CPU is used at maximum but i don't know what changed from before.
The only explaination outside Factorio would be a Steam update...

Can you tell us what is using so much of your CPU? Is it all factorio?
Just telling us that it's at 100% doesn't help us that much - It could be another program drawing a bunch of CPU in background
