It started with me buying the game off of steam. I then downloaded and installed it. Obviously I click play and everything seems fine until it loads to 40% "Cropping Bitmaps" Then takes extremely long to load. I then allow it to sit and eventually it gives me an error stating that there is probably low video memory storage. So I go onto the forums at steam and post about the problem. They give me some launch command options and 1 doesn't work and the other makes it load even slower. No this is not an exaggeration when I say it took 2 hours for it to load. When it's done I start a gam and get hit by a lag wall. The game then glitches out and crashes withput an error popup or anything. The person I was talking to on steam hasn't responded in 4 hours so no I'm here. Here is my log

TL;DR Factorio uses the Direct3D renderer by default (although it is AMD), this leads to the unable to create sprite, probably not enough video memory error, screenshot.
Using the OpenGL renderer takes 1+ hour to load and shows the main menu, but later crashes.
Using low vram mode loads successfully after 2 hours, then lags/glitches/crashes.
Gixty, sorry for not answering on Steam, but I'm just a volunteer moderator and not 24/7 tech support
Although posting the issue on this forum would have been my next advice since I have no idea what the cause is.

Re: My Game is Messed Up
Doesn't it say Available 4092 mb? And the dedicated is just lower. Shouldn't I be able to raise the dedicated from the available pile?DaveMcW wrote:Steam wrote: System Requirements
