Requests in chests and inventory should be additive

Just a small suggestion, but it would help a lot sometimes. Say, i want to fill a chest with 1,5k of something (or smaller numbers, like 150, or exact numbers like 215). Right now, the system allows only small exact numbers below ten or stuff in huge chunks, which is generally fine. But why not make it so you can simply request an item more than once for a chest, and it adds up? Like, I want to have 1,5k iron in a chest. I put in two requests, once 1k iron and another 500 in an extra request. I think it wouldn't change the current system too much, but would help a lot with exact numbers for some things.

Another possibility would be to enter some mode where you could additionally simply type the desired amount on your keyboard. That would be even better, but i guess the other system would be a lot easier to integrate into the game right now. What do you think?
