Forum account should not be required

You required I set up an account to play the game multiplayer. I should not need a second account to post to your PHPBB instance. Just change the model to use the extant data.

The game and the forum are two totally different things. It's not abnormal each has its own authentication, requiring different accounts from people.

... and in the case that forum is hacked it doesn't mean that your game account or anything else will be hacked.
It's like you don't have normally the same keys for your home and work/car/....
