Hello guys,
I am sometimes experiencing some mini lags when I am ingame. I am having these issues since the 0.14 without mods, so I think, that the mods are not the source of it.
The bug doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is quite annoying.
Bug description:
When zooming in on a small part of my factory I seem to have less than 20 fps, but the fps counter says, that I still got my 60 fps.
I already tried disabling G-Sync and V-Sync, but the bug still appears.
THE GAME DOES NOT CRASH
After some time the bug disappears and appears later again.
Bug reproduction:
Build a factory with roundabout 100 Furnaces, use fast inserters (as in the picture below), zoom in and walk a bit.
The bug does not appear everytime!
Why is my issue none of the known issues:
My CPU (i7-5820k 6 cores @ 3,5 Ghz (OC)) is not even hitting the 10 percent workload.
My GPU (Geforce GTX 1080) is not going over 25 percent workload and the RAM (16 GB) is also not going above 25 % workload.
NOTE: I play the game in 3840*2160 Resolution

In that folder you find:

I can guarantee, that the download is save.
I hope, that you can find some information, I was unable to see.

[15.18] Mini lags in a medium large Factory
Re: [15.18] Mini lags in a medium large Factory
What? Only one of those can be correct and if it says 60 FPS in the counter then it's 60 FPS.klein648 wrote:When zooming in on a small part of my factory I seem to have less than 20 fps, but the fps counter says, that I still got my 60 fps.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
Re: [15.18] Mini lags in a medium large Factory
That's the Problem: The Steam fps Counter say, that the game is running fluent, but is doesn't. I had this Problem this CSGO before, disabling G-Sync for it, but it didn't in factorio...Rseding91 wrote:What? Can you enable the in-game FPS/UPS counter from the F4 debug menu and see what FPS is it reporting?klein648 wrote:That's the Problem: The Steam fps Counter say, that the game is running fluent, but is doesn't. Re: [15.18] Mini lags in a medium large Factory
I think now, that it is not the fault of the game, it is more about my Output about the display port, because when I record the bug, the recor4d is completely fluent.Klonan wrote:Can you enable the in-game FPS/UPS counter from the F4 debug menu and see what FPS is it reporting?klein648 wrote:That's the Problem: The Steam fps Counter say, that the game is running fluent, but is doesn't.
