[15.12] Crash with specific save on placing a rail on: "RailPlanFinderLocation::closerRailEdge"

Steps to reproduce :

1. Load attached save
2. From the toolbar, select the stack of rails
3. Attempt to place a rail that extends from any existing track

It does not appear to matter which set of track you attempt to extend, as soon as the mouse-over ghost sprite comes in contact with the placed rail sprite, the game will crash.

Odd. I just tried it that save and extended from a few places, reloading the save between attempts, and didn't crash. I'm on 0.15.12 and don't use any mods.

no problem placing rails with that save for me in 0.15.12.

My mistake, my version actually is 0.15.12.

I've tried all the autosaves of this game to see if it was a recent thing. It had been a few hours since I had placed any rails though, so I can't really narrow down what might be causing it. If others can load and play, that points to it being unique to my machine. I've attached a dxdiag.
