Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"

Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"
Title pretty much says it.
Deconstruction planner has now the ability to deconstruct "trees only". For example, I experienced while working around rails it would be nice that the filter also include rocks which makes more sense to me instead of having to setup a filter for it. Why would you wanna keep rocks?
Cheers,
Jhonny

But stone rocks are not trees...
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

This suggestion makes only sense if that is a separated option.
I think also that it is sometimes useful to keep stones for defense.

Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

Yeah I figured that out the hard wayRseding91 wrote:But stone rocks are not trees...
Separated option would be fine for me as well.ssilk wrote:This suggestion makes only sense if that is a separated option.

Never had a moment where I thought rocks were good for defense tho.

You can name it "Trees and rocks" or "Environment only" or something else.Rseding91 wrote:But stone rocks are not trees...
And yes, I would like to see this implemented. Never faced an situation when it would be preferable to keep rocks. If such rare moment would come, I can make custom filter to remove really "trees only". But in the most situations when I just cleaning territory, it is preferable to remove rocks too.
Re: Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"
I don't really see the point? You can already place blueprints and single items (shift-click) without having to worry whether there is a tree or rock in the way.
Re: Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"
I guess trees only is needed because there is no other way to get all type of trees.
Now with .15 they also introduced multiple types of rocks. I have to add four types of rocks to make a rock deconstructor, better than trees than is several rows, but still, a global tree and a global rock selection in the menu is needed.

Re: Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"
Not really... Biters will chew through those if they're in the way, and unlike trees, stones will not regenerate health. That makes for a very poor defense. They're mostly just in the way when you're laying down rail or mines.ssilk wrote:This suggestion makes only sense if that is a separated option.

Woohoo better move this one to implemented
Re: Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"
Yush, and thanks
Re: Deconstruction planner: add Stone Rocks to "Tree only"
You know you can do this by whitelisting the rocks (actually only the grey ones not all 5) three buttons compared to the trees which is like 30+ to get them all selected that way, but a combined "remove landscape features" would help for both at the same time
