While attempting to connect to a multiplayer game, the estimated download time is 10 minutes, which is too long for me. I want to abort the download and instead start a new game.
If I press Escape while still connecting, the main menu appears below the download progress bar. From here I can navigate around through any of the menus while it still downloads the map from that server.
From here I can then go to New Game, Generate. It is quite unhappy trying to generate a new world while simultaneously downloading a world.
CRASH!
Please revise the GUI so that while connecting to a server:
- Pressing Escape or any other keys should not display the main menu while downloading.
- There are two buttons provided below the connect progress bar: [Abort] and [Quit game]
- Escape should instead be bound to the [Abort] button.
