Seeing as steam is now another liquid it would be more realistic to make it cool down over some time or distance and then condese into water.
It would present more challanges while transporting steam in fluid wagons or over long distances.
Now it seems strange that you can simply fill up a tank with steam and let it be for as long as you need.
Also knowing that steam is much less dense than water the condensation ratio would be introduced.

Yes, I agree that tanks filled with steam should cool down over time. It doesn't seem well balanced if a single steam tank can store as much energy as an accumulator farm, without having any disadvantages.

I'd be for this, assuming I also have a heat-insulated version of the fluid tanks, and the fluid wagon. :)

Not likely to ever happen. Not only would it not bring anything interesting gameplay wise but it would add additional CPU drain regardless of you wanting to use It.
