I wondered whether someone has already done the math/experiments for the new 0.15 train speed/acceleration.
Is the max speed stil independent of the train length?

Yes. I have tested it some days ago.

Max speed is independent of train length.

Acceleration is dependent of the train length.

I have tested in creative mode driving a train in a triangular loop circuit with fairly long straight lines.
