Symptoms: Game Unplayable - first stutters when buffer <10 then lock in place, changing held items, placing or removing entities, accessing menus, placing blueprints and looking at inventories are all impossible after buffer > 10 yet scrolling round the map remains fine. interacting with it does not.
What I did, nothing specific, general upsurge in entities caused by base activation and probable distance to server causing latency (though it claims 24ms)
What happened: Precisely nothing
What did I expect to happen: my character follow any keyboard commands
Save file not got a copy at the moment, pending
Concise log file containing an example of the problem and little else pending
Desync Not applicable
Screenshots likely Unhelpful
Moderation note
Opinions on telling someone to read the before you post thing -> Yeah did that, did what I could with it at the time, was very tired and more than a little annoyed might want to point out with more detail I know you get dozens of reports and deal with each one individually but honestly assume good intentions and give a little more detail, saying read the rules and change accordingly is fine but this might be a better way of putting it, if you want to copy and paste it for the next guy,
Hi, Thanks for the report but it's not quite there yet would you mind double checking the read this first *provide link* you've definitely missed the *insert section* and it could use a revision until then I'll pop it in pending shoot me a message when you think it's done or if you want some help
Also a cut and paste form to fill out would be a bunch useful for that page, literally make it as stupid as possible to follow having 3 links to press to find out something that's 2 sentences and could have been included in the post is bad design
Thanks for coming to report a bug here's how copy the form below and fill in everything you can if there's something you can't do that's okay move on without it but you should familiarise yourself with getting the log file and backing it up before you do any more testing of this bug for us, go now and back it up *link to concise instructions on how to do that for dummies all on one page* and back it up again after every experience you'll need them later
Version : *insert version number or we will assume the latest not opt in release on the date of the post*
Quick description : *keep it under a paragraph you can always expand later*
Can you make it happen again? Y/N
Are you running mods? Y/N
Can you test this without mods? Y/N
What mods are you running? *list all as precisely as you can note base is the actual game so you don't need to include it*
If you did test it without the mods did it still happen? Y/N
Describe any changes from your quick description
Is it multiplayer? Y/N
If you save the map and load locally do you get the same thing? Y/N
Describe any changes from your quick description
Log reports: *Remember those log reports you should upload them and paste links here, Users have used google drive, dropbox and other third party sites if uploading as an attachment on the site (that's below the post creator right next to options) please rename them to something useful so if it's the multiplayer version name it that, version numbers too but don't worry too much any log report is better than nothing. Infact without a log report there's almost nothing we can do to help
Game saves: *Those log reports were in the save game folder if you can upload any applicable game saves, this isn't 100% necessary but it's useful, it will give us more context
Details: *Now it's time to go into as much detail as possible, if you can litter in some screen shots too, thanks to steam it's as easy as pressing the F12 key you can also bring up debug information with *insert method* it might look scary but it all helps. Remember to include what you did, keys and buttons you pressed, be as in depth as you can, describe what happened and what you were expecting, what you thought should happen and any theories on the cause everything and anything you can give us will be helpful. And again thank you for filling in this bug report we read every one.*

Assuming the UPS is about Updates Per Second (sat next to FPS this makes sense to me) the UPS needs to be synchronized across all the computers playing on a server or at least the clients should be receiving and processing updates at that speed but with only a little latency some players on a server can have their UPS drop below 60 and slowly desync. The problem is that the client might be able to buffer the data and just not process it leading to the client being far enough out of sync to at first stutter then lock in place, changing held items, placing or removing entities, accessing menus, placing blueprints and looking at inventories are all impossible yet scrolling round the map is fine. This is usually an asymmetric process as not all players are affected equally. Because the process is slow and the buffer is there and can fill past well I've seen it/jumps at 13000 after a ten minute build up, there's no desync catchup or well anything else warning and it makes the game unplayable.
Notes my computer was not under full load and I have a good internet connection, multiplayer games have never been an issue for me before factorio or minecraft etc.. graphics were turned down to zero effect. Same thing has happened multiple times, is more likely when the map is larger (we have a 20mb+ map so far) with plenty of items and bots about the place
