[0.15.9] Impossible to switch weapon while running southwest

Hello Factorio Community and Team

[First of all, I love this game! ]

I am using the standard key controls settings, especially next-weapon=TAB. In general it is possible to switch to the next equipped weapon by pressing TAB, also while running north/west/south/east respectively pressing W / A / S / D.

But when I run diagonally (ie press two of the WASD keys together), for one of the four directions ( A + S / bottom-left ) the TAB key is ignored.



I don't know if this is a specific bug in factorio or maybe a restriction of my hardware or system. I am running linux 64 Bit (ubuntu 16.04, Lenovo Y50-70 Laptop). I tested it also under Factorio 0.14.23 and it seems to be the same.

But in any case it is unexpected behaviour which has an impact on the gameplay. I just got myself killed by accidentally shooting a nuclear missile on my own location! Just because the TAB key didn't correctly switch to another weapon...

Definitely a key rollover problem. (The short version: You keyboard ignores the tab key under those conditions.)

I guess it's a hardware fault. Please check if the key combination works on the following website: http://www.gigahype.com/nkey-rollover-test-page/
connecting an usb keyboard with an USB to PS/2 adapter might fix that issue.
