Radar outline not with blueprint containing radar

I love the new radar coverage on the minimap when you place a radar.

But I just found out that it only shows when you hold an actual radar, not when you hold a blueprint with a radar (even, as I did, a blueprint with just a single radar device, nothing else).

EDIT: The only mod that touches the radar is Squeak Through. I do use the Satellite Radar mod, but that replaces radar dishes and doesn't touch the base radar.

Maybe a similar button to display radar coverage on the map like turret coverage.

However this isn't a bug, a radar in a blueprint was never designed to show the range on the map
