When you go to the map and zoom in to see the real game world, no matter which engine you click on, it will only recolor one. You have to physically walk to the train to properly recolor the other.

Well, it's actually same behavior for train gui - some "random" locomotive receives color. I'll check into that.

Is it possible to copy the color from one locomotive to the others?

Via shift-right-click / shift-left-click - yes, also works in map view.

EDIT: issue has been fixed for coming release - clicking locomotive from map view will adjust color for that particular locomotive, not some random from whole train. Clicking cargo wagon will still adjust "random" locomotive as with trains GUI.
