When a specific player connects to the game he is completly unable to move and is unable to open his Inventory.
Furtermore when joining without pausing the game his catching up bar is moving backwards.
Damage is visible on his screen after around 20 - 30 Seconds. He used to be able to play just fine.
This may or may not be network related. However I am unable to confirm this....
Loading the save file locally works without any lags or issues. Changing graphic options does not change anything.

Re: [0.15.6] Player is unable to move on spawn
That indicates his computer isn't powerful enough to keep up with the map.
He'll either need to get a more powerful computer or you'll have to reduce the game speed so he can play.

Re: [0.15.6] Player is unable to move on spawn
Thank you for the prompt reply. Should the CPU as well as his graphics card be fast enough ? GTX 970 / AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor, 6 cores, RAM: 16381MB be enough?
As said if he runs it locally it just works.
We will try it with a lower game speed.

Re: [0.15.6] Player is unable to move on spawn
Say it takes him 20 seconds to download the map. Now he's connected to the server, but his game state is 20 seconds behind everyone else's. Before he can start playing, he needs to catch up. For him to catch up in 20 more seconds, his computer would need to be fast enough to run the game at double speed, which is much harder than playing at single speed.Crazythom wrote:As said if he runs it locally it just works.

HI. "Fast enough" as in "fast enough to keep up with the server CPU in single threaded performance" and the headless server has advantage of no rendering (but client doesn't render in catching up phase either).
