[0.15.3] Connecting Substation and Big electric pole crash

Trying to connect a Substation to a Big electric pole using Copper wire in one of my old savegames crashes the game every time.

I'm attaching a screenshot of the specific setup, as well as the factorio-current.log and my world. I think it might be worth noting that I've used and subsequently disabled several mods in that savegame at some points, and I've played in it since I think 0.13, so I don't know if that might have an effect on it being less stable.
