My storage tanks can hold 25k fluid now - ten times the value before according to the wiki (2500). Cost remained the same - a bit OP maybe, fluid storage was quite a bit of a problem in 0.14 so you had to use barrels. Also oil fields seem to last a lot longer now (which was in the patch notes, but the numbers don't feel to match the reality).
Well maybe this is just required now to get in the end game considering the hugely increased cost of technology. I really like that there is a separate military science pack. Hopefully biters will keep up with infinite research.
Did they silently increase tank capacity massivly?
Re: Did they silently increase tank capacity massivly?
They multiplied all the numbers by 10, but the time it takes to fill and empty a tank are pretty much the same.

I havent taken a close look at the duration of an oil field, but I did notice that fluid-tanks are HUGE now.
"Oh the tank has 2,3K of oil in it but the bar is only at 10%... that must be a bug" ... kinda thing

Ah right, they adjusted the recipes accordingly. 2x plastic now cost 20 petroleum gas (up from 3; still only 1 coal though). Now it makes sense when people say that pipes may become a real bottleneck.Frightning wrote:Fluid costs are also 10x'd as is fluid income afaik.

Pipes also increased in capacity from 10 to 100. Practically every fluid aspect was multiplied by 10.neoc wrote:Ah right, they adjusted the recipes accordingly. 2x plastic now cost 20 petroleum gas (up from 3; still only 1 coal though). one exception is the sulfuric acid water requirement. it'll be fixed in the next patch though. and here i was hoping that was a feature
